2. No doctor–patient relationship
Reading this website, or sending an enquiry through it, does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and any doctor at Little’s Clinic. That relationship begins when your child is seen at the clinic.
3. Always ask a doctor about your own child
Every child is different. Symptoms that are harmless in one child can matter in another, and the same illness is managed differently at different ages.
Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read here. If you are worried about your child, speak to a doctor.
4. In an emergency
Do not use this website in an emergency. Go to your nearest emergency department or call your local emergency number immediately. The clinic line (+91 70192 04982) is answered during clinic hours only and is not an emergency service.
Signs that need immediate attention include difficulty breathing, a seizure, unresponsiveness, a fever in a baby under three months, persistent vomiting with drowsiness, or a rash that does not fade when pressed.
5. Accuracy and currency
We take care that what we publish is accurate at the time of writing and consistent with Indian Academy of Pediatrics guidance. Medical understanding changes, and older articles may not reflect current practice. Publication dates are shown on articles for that reason.
